Every gift we receive supports our mission to partner people who are blind with expertly bred and trained German Shepherd guide dogs, providing all clients with increased independence to improve their lives and the world around them.

Mareen and her German shepherd guide dog, 'Xellie' sit on a cement wall. Maureen wears sunglasses, a pink puffy jacket, a gray beanie and a blue sweatshirt under the jacket and a pair of jeans. Xellie stands next to her on the cement seat garden wall barrier in a harness with head slightly tilted to the side and ears alert.
Before Xellie, I was pretty isolated and had many insecurities about travel. But today, fear has turned into confidence. Routine travels have become adventures. I am no longer reluctant to go to places that are unfamiliar to me.”

— Maureen Hartung, Fidelco client

I am excited to spread the word about Fidelco because I couldn’t picture my life without a Fidelco guide dog. Each of my five guide dogs has provided unmatched independence, safety, and companionship. I’m so grateful.
